I am looking for 6-10 good men who would like to be part of a pastoral encouragement group in 2022. The past couple of years have presented unique challenges to pastors, and I would like to gather with like-minded brothers for mutual encouragement. I want to help whoever I can.

About The Group

I envision an online meeting every six weeks. There, we will support one another regarding the current state of our ministries and lives, along with a special topic designed to sharpen our pastoral skills. I plan to be available for one-on-one care throughout the month via phone, text, Marco Polo, or online meetings as needs arise. Finally, in November, our group will culminate with a three-day gathering in Monterey, CA (wives invited). At this final meeting my team and I will pour into and serve you with the hopes of strengthening you for the year to come.

Who Is Invited?

I am looking for current lead/senior/teaching pastors of small to mid-size churches. Though I am a Calvary Chapel pastor, I am open to those outside my tribe taking part. Regarding the age bracket, as a 43-year-old pastor who has been a lead pastor since 2008, I am generally looking for men who are younger or with less experience than me. About Me

Having been raised in a church-planting pastor's home, I have a ton of respect and love for pastors. I believe the best days of ministry are ahead of us, but we need to build up our strength for the struggles to come. I know the work is hard, but I believe pastors are gifts from Jesus to His church and would cherish the opportunity to encourage you.
