Read moreI must start today's teaching by reminding you of our place in the gospel of Mark. Mark had begun his book by revealing Jesus' identity: he is the Christ, the Son of God (Mark 1:1). (Hebrews 2:8)
Did you know that God created humanity to be in control? When in times of chaos and upheaval, it's hard to imagine, but the world was supposed to be in subjection to mankind. The only world they know is the world of the friends and networks they have cultivated, many of them online. In other words, he saw their digital connections making their world smaller, not bigger.

None of the gospel writers tried to do it. They could have, but Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John never attempted to describe Jesus' outward appearance. Jesus' words, actions, and passion all elicited full detail, but not his looks. (2 Minutes/400 Words)

Humanity was supposed to wear a crown — not one made of gold and jewels, but of God's glory and honor. We were supposed to be a regal people, free and self-controlled.
